Czech Republic was presented in the Eurovillage 2015 in Baku

The traditional Day of the European Union was held on 19 September 2015 in Baku. Enjoying the abundant participation of Azerbaijani people, manifested a keen interest in information on European Union countries, all the embassies of EU countries represented in Azerbaijan were introduced.
Czech little house in European village was opened Ambassador Vitězslav Pivoňka, whose son Vitek tried to answer questions from the test on the Czech Republic. Visitors of a successful European Day had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Czech Republic mainly as a tourist destination but also as a country offering quality education. Culinary arts were represented by excellent Czech homemade cakes.
Embassy of the Czech Republic is also a representative of the International Visegrad Fund in Azerbaijan; therefore information on this institution was also presented during European day.
