On 26-27 May 2025, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic organized a study visit for colleagues from the Central Bank of Iraq, during which experts from the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic shared their knowledge and practical experience. In addition to experts from the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the Czech National Bank also participated in the preparation of the program, and the embassies in Baghdad and Prague also contributed to the coordination. We would like to thank all those involved.

The event enabled the exchange of knowledge and practical experience between experts, with lectures focusing on the digital transformation of the banking sector, the development of electronic payment systems and cards and banking services in general, human resource management, supervision of the financial market and payment service providers in the Czech Republic, and related cooperation between institutions and state debt management.
