In the opening speach Ambassador recalled more than 50 years long presence of Czech companies in Iraq in the Energy sector, sucessful recent visit of Iraqi Prime Minister in Prague, number of new bilateral cooperation agreements, increasing volume of our trade exchange, improving security situation in Iraq and opportunities connected to the development of Iraqi economy. 

Ambassador thanked the Ministry of Industry for financing, company ABF a.s. for preparing the joint stand, Czech-Iraqi Business Council and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic for supporting development of business contacts between Czechia and Iraq. And to Czech company representatives he wished a successful stay in Iraq, with many new business cases.
