NAZ Organization and their Local Transformation Project in support of independent media

Local Iraqi organization NAZ has been selected this year to implement their project in support of independent media in Iraq. Czech Republic will provide funding of 420 thousand CZK (over 17,100.00 USD). The procet is financed by CZECHAID under the Local Transformation Projects scheeme.

Project of the NAZ Organization has been selected for realization in 2025 from among total 30 LTP proposals. Under this project three work shops will be organized for activists and media professionals in three cities in Iraq (Kirkuk, Duhuk and Nasiriya), there will be also a social media campaign and distribution of various printed materials. All this in support of "Enhancing Independent Media and Promoting Human Rights in Iraq (Safety Labs)".
On March 28, 2025, representatives of NAZ Organization for Developing Women and Child Affairs visited Czech Embassy in Baghdad. They signed the contract for their project and held discussions with ambassador Jan Šnaidauf.
