Deputy PM and Foreign Minister receives Ambassadors of the Czech Republic and Spain (MoFA)

16 July 2024 - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received at his office in Baghdad the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Mr. Peter Štepánek, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Pedro Martínez Avial, to mark the end of their tenure in Iraq.
During his reception of both Ambassadors, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts they exerted in enhancing relations between Iraq and their countries, wishing them every success in their future endeavours.
On their part, the two Ambassadors extended their appreciation for the cooperation they received during their work in Iraq, and for facilitating the duties of their diplomatic missions, stressing the continuation of cooperation to achieve common interests.
