The President praised Ambassador's efforts in strengthening the existing relations between the two countries and wished him success in his future tasks. He further stated that the Iraq seeks to build strong relationships in various areas of mutual interest. Ambassador Petr Štěpánek assured the President that the Czech Republic supports the security and stability of Iraq and the security of its citizens and is interested in further developing bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
