Iraq has recently established a new entity responsible for cyber security. It is often said that "Cybercrimes have no borders". Criminals, victims and technical infrastructure span multiple jurisdictions, bringing many challenges to investigations and prosecutions. Close collaboration among countries as well as between public and private partners is therefore essential. Cyber security can become yet another area where Iraq and Czechia cooperate closely. At the meeting both partners discussed also other topics of mutual interest.
