Study in Europe Fair in Amman

On October 11, 2017, the Czech Embassy in Amman in cooperation with The Centre for International Cooperation in Education (DZS) – the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic participated in the Study in Europe Fair in Le Meridien Hotel in Amman where the possibilities of university studies in the Czech Republic were presented to Jordanian students.

The whole event was organized by the EU and Erasmus+. Broad opportunities to study in Europe were presented by both national educational institutions as well as by the universities from Cyprus, Hungary, France, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Romania, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovakia, Estonia and the Czech Republic.

Over 2,000 Jordanian students pre-registered online and many others passed by to attend the fair. This event received significant publicity in the local press[1]. The young Jordanians as well as postgraduates showed a great interest in studying at Czech universities, even though studying in foreign language other than Czech is mostly offered as a self-paid study. The Masaryk University in Brno and its Faculty of Economics and Administration was one of the institutions that presented its programs at the fair.

The participants´ great interest in studying at Czech universities confirmed that the Czech Republic is a prestigious educational destination with a high quality university system.
