Memorandum of Understanding between the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Jordanian National Center for Research and Development has been signed

By signing MoU both parties recognizing the importance of international scientific cooperation. This MoU shall serve as a basic for the promotion and support of science cooperation between the both sides and to foster ideas, share knowledge and combine efforts to encourage joint activities to the establishment and promotion of cooperation in areas of common interest.
The President of the National Center for Research and Development, Dr. Mohammad WEDYAN, concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in developing scientific, academic, and research ties with the Czech Academy of Sciences by signing the document on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in Amman, in the presence of the representative of the Czech Embassy, H.E. Mrs. Sylva Pavlasová Chargé d'Affaires a.i., and from the Center, Engineer Nawras Al-Jazi, Acting Director of the Badia Research Program, Dr. Khaled Al-Masaeed, Director of the Water, Food and Energy Program, and Engineer Maha Aqra Acting Director of the International Cooperation and Technology Transfer Program.
Both Dr. Al-Wadyan and Ms. Pavlasová expressed the depth of the strong and growing relations between Czechia and Jordan in the fields of science and technology and the importance of this partnership, as it is a new chapter in scientific cooperation, and reflects the shared commitment to innovation, knowledge exchange, and addressing global challenges.
Through this Memorandum, the two parties seek to enhance scientific research, build capacities, and create fruitful cooperation opportunities that benefit our scientific communities and contribute to the well-being of society as a whole.
