H.E. Mr. Adam Vojtech, Minister of Health of the Czech Republic conducted an official visit from 9 to 11 April, 2019 to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and his accompanying business delegation of Czech companies (PROPED, the so-called Economic Diplomacy Project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic) from the health sector.
The Czech Minister of Health visited several health care facilities, explicitly to Al Khalidi Hospital and Medical Center, where the Czech doctors are operating on Jordanian and Syrian patients within the humanitarian MEDEVAC program; he also visited and met with the management of Arab Medical Center and Al Shmeisani Hospital, followed by the Royal Medical Services, where he held talks with its management and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the hospital’s technical equipment and medical expertise.
In addition to meetings at the local hospitals, H.E. Mr. Adam Vojtech held negotiations with H.E. Dr. Hikmat Abul Foul, General Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as with the members of the Committee on Health and Environment of the Lower House of Representatives of Jordan. Subsequently, His Excellency the Minister opened the Czech-Jordanian medical equipment business forum covered by B2B discussions at the Private Hospital Association, where Czech companies had the opportunity to introduce their products and services of supplying medical equipment to potential partners.
