The subject of the conference was about the women’s work in public offices as well as the progress that have been achieved by women which are actively engaged in their positions during the latest period in the region of Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Beside attending the conference H.E. J. Jermanová met at the residence of H.E. Mr. Petr Hladík, the Czech Ambassador with H.E. Ms. Hind Al Fayez, a member of the Lower House of the Jordanian Parliament, and with women from the Czech community who are permanently living in Jordan. She discussed with them women’s status in the local society, in the context of women’s everyday life in the Islamic world.
