The main reason for the meeting was to prepare the visit of the delegation of the Czech Senate, which should take place in May of this year. President Al-Fayez highly praised the excellent level of bilateral relations and the Czech assistance provided to Jordan in connection with the ongoing crisis in the neighborhood of the Kingdom. Ambassador Hladík stressed that the Czech Government is well aware of the challenges Jordan is facing and highlighted an important role of the parliamentary diplomacy in further development of the Czech-Jordanian relations.
