Czech puppets in Amman

An exhibition of Czech puppets was launched on 22 March 2019 at the Haya Culture Center in Amman. This event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan along with H.E. the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Jordan and other representatives of the diplomatic missions in Amman.
The afternoon opening of the exhibition was preceded by two morning workshops presented by the Alfa Theatre actor in Pilsen Bohuslav Holý, which were intended for Jordanian children. The workshop was followed by several outdoor performances of foreign puppet ensembles in the arena of the Haya Cultural Center. The exhibition of the Czech puppets and the history of puppetry in the Czech Republic can be visited until the end of April 2019.
