Czech MFA Delegation Holds Talks with U.S. Officials in Amman on Regional Security

A prominent working meeting took place in Amman between a delegation from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Ambassador to Jordan, Jim Holtsnider, his deputy Peter Shea, and their diplomatic team. The discussions focused primarily on the latest developments in Jordan and Syria, alongside the strategic role of the United States in the Middle East. Particular attention was dedicated to the unique role of the Czech Republic as the U.S. protecting power in Syria, managing American diplomatic interests in the country. Participants discussed strategic coordination aimed at enhancing regional stability, security, and effective humanitarian and diplomatic cooperation. The Czech Embassy extends its thanks to the U.S. partners for a highly constructive dialogue, reaffirming the strong alliance that unites both nations in this geopolitically complex region.
