Czech MEDEVAC Mission Brings Specialized Ophthalmological Care to Jordan

Amman, Jordan – December 2, 2025 – The Czech Republic successfully concluded a critical MEDEVAC humanitarian mission in Amman, which ran from November 24th to December 2nd, providing free specialized medical care to vulnerable populations. A team of highly skilled Czech surgeons and specialists performed complex operations, focusing on patients who would otherwise lack access to necessary treatment, particularly Syrian refugees and impoverished Jordanians. H.E. Ambassador Andrea Kučerová visited the medical team during the mission, highlighting the significance of this long-standing humanitarian effort in strengthening bilateral ties. The Ambassador praised the dedication of the Czech doctors for significantly improving the quality of life for hundreds of patients across the region. This initiative reaffirms the Czech Republic's steadfast commitment to Jordan's role as a vital hub for regional medical assistance.
