Commemorating Martyrs’ Day: Honoring the Fallen

Representatives of the Czech Embassy in Amman joined Turkish colleagues and other diplomatic missions to observe Martyrs’ Day in a solemn commemorative ceremony. The event honored the memory of Turkish soldiers who lost their lives during the Gallipoli Campaign in World War I, marking the 1915 victory of the Ottoman forces. Standing in solidarity with the diplomatic community, the Czech mission paid tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, reflecting on the profound historical events that shaped the region.
