An opening ceremony of the first “Heritage Days in Jordan” was launched

The opening ceremony of the first “Heritage Days in Jordan” was held on the evening of October 4, at Amman Citadel, which was attended by H.E. Ms. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities along with the Ambassador of the European Union, Ambassador of Belgium, Ambassador of France, Ambassador of Bulgaria, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic.
Both the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ambassador of the EU to Jordan emphasized during their opening remarks on the equal importance of Jordan's cultural heritage for the present, and the need of preserving it for the future generations.
Within the Heritage Days in Jordan exhibitions, workshops, lectures and other activities will be held in six places in Jordan starting from 5.10. until 13.10, with the aim to shed light on the rich history of Jordan.
