To support foreign employment, Czech Republic implements several economic migration programs. These programs register interested employers whose future employees file their visa or residency applications in a facilitated manner. Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa accepts applications in the following programs:

Based on the Government Resolution no. 415/2025 from June 11, 2025 that has amended the Government Regulation no. 220/2019 Coll., starting July 1, 2025 the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Addis Ababa is no longer accepting applications for employee cards others than those of highly qualified employees indicated directly by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. There are no exceptions to the rule.
