This flagship event will be the largest EU–Ethiopia business gathering since 2019, bringing together hundreds of European and Ethiopian companies, senior government representatives, financial institutions, development partners and international organisations. The Forum aims to strengthen EU–Ethiopia economic cooperation and unlock concrete trade and investment opportunities in one of Africa’s most dynamic and rapidly transforming markets. 

The EU–Ethiopia Business Forum 2026 offers participants a unique platform to:

• engage in targeted B2B and B2G meetings with Ethiopian companies and public institutions,
• take part in high‑level thematic panels and practical workshops focused on investment, trade and the business environment,
• present concrete investment and business projects to European and Ethiopian partners,
• build long‑term partnerships with key market players, EU representatives and financial institutions.

The Forum is particularly relevant for companies active in or exploring opportunities in:

• Energy and renewable energy solutions,
• Transport, urban mobility and e‑mobility,
• Smart city solutions and infrastructure,
• Agriculture, agri‑processing and industrial technologies,
• Digitalisation and services for the public sector.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic strongly encourages Czech companies — as well as European firms with innovative solutions — to consider participating in the Forum, whether through direct attendance, project presentation or the establishment of new partnerships in the Ethiopian market. Participant registration will open in the coming weeks.
