Czech Pavilion Opened and Business Meetings Kick Off at the Ethiopia–EU Business Forum and the CZ–ET Forum at Hilton (20 April 2026)

Addis Ababa, 20 April 2026 Today, the Czech pavilion was officially opened at the Ethiopia–EU Business Forum 2026, marking the start of an intensive ‘marathon’ of business meetings involving 17 representatives of Czech companies and the official representatives of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport and CzechTrade.
The program continued with a dedicated Czech–Ethiopian (CZ–ET) Business Forum held at the Hilton Hotel, building on the contacts and discussions initiated during the EU–ET format.
Africa’s growing strategic importance in global trade and investment—driven by rapid economic and demographic growth—explains the rising interest of Czech companies in expanding partnerships across the continent.
The Czech delegation and participating companies are engaging with Ethiopian and international partners across a range of sectors, from energy and sustainability to healthcare, aviation solutions, smart mobility, digital infrastructure, agriculture, and geoscience.
