Meeting with Ghanaian medical professionals headed for MEDEVAC study stay in Czechia

Ambassador Pavel Bílek and his Deputy Nick Ojo Omorodion met at the Embassy with four healthcare professionals from Cape Coast Teaching Hospital who will soon travel to Prague for a study visit under the Czech Ministry of the Interior’s MEDEVAC programme.
The group includes two plastic surgeons, an anaesthesiologist, and a nurse, who will undergo specialised training with leading Czech experts at Královské Vinohrady University Hospital in Prague.
In addition to hosting Ghanaian medical professionals in Czechia, the MEDEVAC programme also supports Czech medical teams travelling to Ghana to perform difficult surgeries and share know‑how in hospitals in Cape Coast and Tamale. This long‑term cooperation
