Ghanaian children are traditional participants in the Lidice international competition. The current edition marked a success for Jonas Addy Oduro, a student at Wiltek Freedom Academy from the city of Obuasi in the east of the country. Jonas received The Honourable Mention award for his work. The ceremony at the Embassy was also attended by his uncle Eddy Oduro and the Head of art subjects at Jonas' school Emmanuel Buah.
A total of 12,946 works from 81 countries around the world were registered for last year's edition on the theme "CARAVANA".
