Czech Ambassador met the President of the Association of Ghana Industries

On June 13, 2024, Ambassador of the Czech Republic Pavel Bílek met with the President of the Association of Ghana Industries Dr. Humphrey Kwesi Ayim Darke on the possibilities of deepening trade and industrial cooperation. The Association of Ghana Industries is already a well-known partner of Czech companies and e.i. actively participates in bilateral business forums organized in Ghana. In November 2023, during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mr. Petr Fiala to Ghana, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, which gave the cooperation a formal framework.

During the meeting, both partners agreed that the field of agriculture, fruit processing, water treatment and especially vocational training occupies a key place in Czech-Ghanaian business relations and offers considerable potential for further development in the future.
