Ambassador Bílek Promotes Czech Companies as Business Partners for Ghana

During his recent address to the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) on 21st November, the Czech Ambassador Pavel Bílek highlighted Ghana’s potential as an important destination for Czech businesses.
He emphasized the country’s strategic position in West Africa, its stable political environment, and its growing economy as key factors making Ghana an attractive market for Czech companies and entrepreneurs. The Ambassador has praised the existing activities of Czech businesses in Ghana and further promoted cooperation between the two countries. Regional offices of the GNCCI from all over Ghana have joined the meeting online. The Ambassador pointed out the opportunities for Czech companies in sectors such as transport infrastructure, agriculture, water treatment, and healthcare. He also acknowledged the mutual benefits of increased Czech presence in Ghana, emphasizing the role such partnerships can play in fostering innovation, creating jobs, and driving sustainable growth.
This visit reinforced the Czech Republic’s interest in building stronger economic ties with Ghana and underscored the potential for Ghana to be an attractive destination for Czech businesses.
The Ambassador has also held a separate meeting with the President of the Chamber Mr Stephane Miezan and new leadership of the Chamber to discuss further cooperation between Czech Republic and Ghana.
