Lekki FTZ will be fully equipped with world-class infrastructure with an integrated 90-hectare deep-sea port that will allow access to regional and international markets. In addition to the perfect background, companies that decide to operate in this area will also have tax breaks from the Nigerian government and a large tariff advantage on imported and exported goods. Finishing work is currently underway and the whole project should be completed by the end of 2022. Lekki FTZ is located in the eastern part of Lekki in Lagos, which covers a total area of ​​about 155 Km2. The first phase of Lekki FTZ has an area of ​​30 km2, of which approximately 27 km2 is intended for urban development with a total capacity of 120,000 residents. According to the master plan, Lekki FTZ is to develop into a new modern "city within a city" with the integration of industry, trade, real estate, warehousing and logistics services, including tourism and leisure activities. Lekki FTZ is divided into three functional circuits. Residential area in the north, industrial area in the middle and commercial, warehousing, logistics area in the southeast. First, a "sub-center" located in the southern region will be developed. This part will be located in close proximity to the customs office and will be intended mainly for trade, logistics and warehousing. The second part will be located in the northern part, which will serve as a central commercial spot. Another area will be intended for financial and commercial entities, real estate - real estate purchase, support and facilities, including associated services. Dangote's refinery is also currently being completed at Lekki FTZ. According to the zoning plan, large multi-purpose buildings will be built in the park, including an international commodity and trade center and an international exhibition and trade fair center. Furthermore, industrial factories, warehouses, office buildings, hotels and apartment buildings. It is certainly worth mentioning that the Czech company Doosan Škoda Power, which supplied the turbine, also left behind in Lekki FTZ.
