Presentation of credentials of the Czech Ambassador to Chad

During his four-day visit to the Republic of Chad, 12-15 February 2020, Czech Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Marek Skolil, accompanied by Consular Attaché Mr. Milan Pohan, handed over the credentials to President, H.E. Mr. Idriss Déby Itno on 13 February. He subsequently met with the Minister of Oil and Mining Industry and Energy, H.E. Mr. Mahamat Hamid Kouaou, the management of the state oil company SNH and the Chief of General Staff of the Chadian Army, Gen. Taher Erda in N’Djamena. The visit was an opportunity to re-establish bilateral contacts, at a time when the Czech Republic was strengthening its engagement in the Sahel, and to explore opportunities for business cooperation.
