Nigerian Journalist at the Forum 2000 Conference in Prague

The Embassy of the Czech Republic initiated and supported an attendance of a journalist, publicist, writer and a former Nigerian Presidential spokesman Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi at a prestigious conference Forum 2000. Round tables focused on human rights and challenges of nowadays society were held in the capital of the Czech Republic in mid-October 2019. As part of the accompanying program, the British Embassy in Prague organized a working breakfast “Africa Rising” with Mr. Adeniyi and other African guests. The main topics were African demography, freedom of speech and of the press, building democratic institutions or challenges associated with strengthening the principles of good governance.
