Ambassador Marek Skolil and his Deputy Hana Trousilova met with Mr. Tony Elumelu. The meeting with the second of Nigeria's ten richest people took place on Friday, May 21, 2021. Mr. Elumelu and his team (Dupe Olusola and Emem Usoro) introduced the activities of Heirs Holding, UBA Bank and TEF. The TEF Foundation sponsors projects for young people / start-ups across Africa. Each year, it selects 1,000 selected from 300,000 applicants, who will receive $ 5,000 at the beginning, and TEF then helps them with capacity building and monitoring. In a debate with Czech guests, Mr. Elumelu confirmed growing concerns about the deteriorating security situation in the country.
