Upon the Article 1.5 and the Article 1.6 of the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health from June 30th,2020 all applicants presenting the long term visa application/long term stay (economical or educational activity) or Schengen visa applications at the Embassy are obliged to present the following Certificate. The rule is valid from July 13th, 2020.
Furthermore the Embassy is announcing that the foreigners who reside in the period of 14 days ( and exceed the period of 12 hours) on the territory of the country which is not in the following list (i.e. Andorra, Australia, Kingdom of Belgium, Republic of Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kingdom of Denmark, Republic of Estonia, Republic of Finland, Republic of France, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Island, Republic of Italy, Japan, Canada, Republic of Korea, Republic of Cyprus, Principality of Liechtenstein, Lithonia, Latvia, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Republic of Hungary, Republic of Malta, Principality of Monaco, Federal Republic of Germany, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kingdom of Norway, New Zealand, Republic of Poland, Republic of Portuguese, Austria, Romania, Republic of Greece, Republic of San Marino, Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Serbia, Kingdom of Spain, Swiss Confederation, Kingdom of Thailand, Holy See and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) are obliged to inform the respective Regional Public Health Authority after the arrival to the Czech Republic immediately. Such foreigners has to be tested for negative SARS CoV-2 for its own expenses in a period of 72 hours.
This rule is not applicable for the workers in the international transport branch; foreigners with the long stay permission in the some EU country who are transiting (max. 24 hours) for the purpose of return to the country of residence and at the same time having in possession a diplomatic note issued by the respective Embassy; diplomats and international organizations officers registered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic if their stay on the territory of the Czech Republic will not exceed the period of 14 days.
The duty to present the RT-PCR test at the time of arrival to the territory of the Czech Republic is cancelled.
