The evening was held on the occasion of the launch of the new year of the Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace (COFP) Fellowship Program. The program focuses on working with religious leaders and communities and aims to strengthen peace, interfaith dialogue and mediation in Nigeria. In addition to Christian and Muslim religious leaders, teachers, all 40 of this year's "Fellows" also attended the evening. They were selected from more than 400 applicants this year, which confirms the great interest of Nigerian religious or community leaders in this program.
