Czech assistance to Nigeria in its fight against COVID -19 arrived in the city of Kano

On July 1st, 2020, a special aircraft sent by Czech companies arrived in the northern Nigerian city of Kano for the purpose of implementing a contract for the overhaul of 3 L-39 aircraft in the arsenal of the Nigerian Air Force. While Czech-made aircraft will be moved to the Czech Republic for repairs so that the giant Antonov aircraft does not fly to Nigeria empty, the Czech Embassy in Abuja, with the support of the Czech companies, used the opportunity to transport and hand over Czech humanitarian medical supplies to Nigeria for its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
