Credentials handing over in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea

The Czech Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Nigeria H.E. Marek Skolil visited the Republic of Equatorial Guinea from 12 to 16 October 2020 in order to hand over credentials to H.E. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. Within the visit, the Ambassador also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Simeon Oyono Esono Angué and with three Ambassadors based in Malabo.
The Czech Ambassador in Nigeria H.E. Marek Skolil accompanied by his Deputy Hana Trousilová visited from 12 to 16 October 2020 the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in order to hand over credentials to H.E. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who has been the head of state for 40 years. During the visit, H.E. also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Simeon Oyono Esono Angué. The visit was an opportunity to re-establish bilateral contacts and to explore opportunities for trade cooperation. The Czech delegation also took part in separate meetings at the embassies of France, the USA and Germany. The discussions provided an unusually broad insight into the situation in the country. The meetings also resulted in some strategically interesting conclusions.
