The Honorary Consulate in Lagos is authorized, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, to carry out specific duties. These include, in particular, supporting mutual trade relations between the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and providing assistance to Czech citizens in distress in the Lagos area (serious cases such as death, hospitalization, or arrest).
