Government Scholarships for Myanmar Students - Academic Year 2018/2019

The Government of the Czech Republic awards 8 scholarships for students from Myanmar for academic year 2018/2019. Hereby, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Yangon calls for applications for students from Myanmar. Register on-line before September 30, 2017 and come to study to the Czech Republic!
The Government of the Czech Republic offers scholarships within the framework of its Foreign Development Assistance in support of the study of foreign nationals from developing countries at public institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic. These so called Government Scholarships are designed to cover the standard length of study in Bachelor/Master study programmes plus one-year preparatory course of the Czech language or in follow-up Master study programmes of Doctoral study programmes.
For the academic year 2018/2019 the Government of the Czech Republic decided to award 8 scholarships for students from Myanmar in following levels and languages:
- 5 scholarships in Czech language, Bachelor or Master Degree,
- 3 scholarships in English language, Master or Doctor Degree,
The recommended fields of studies are Economics (Trade), ICT, Agriculture, Medicine and Energy.
How to submit your application for the Czech Government Scholarship?
- Download “Guidelines for granting scholarships of the Government of the Czech Republic” at http://www.msmt.cz/eu-and-international-affairs/government-scholarships-developing-countries and read these instructions carefully.
- Register online until September 30th, 2017, this includes knowledge and English tests. The online registration is opened at the http://registr.dzs.cz/registr.nsf from July 20th, 2017. After the above stated deadline the registration will not be possible.
- Any technical problem with the registration should be discussed with the administrator by e-mail at registr@dzs.cz.
