Dear Madam, dear Sir,
I am delighted to inform you that the Czech Republic will host the 13th edition of defence & security specialized meetings and exhibition FUTURE FORCES FORUM (FFF) in Prague, within the period of 17-19 October 2018. The FFF responds to the latest trends and needs and helps to achieve the so much sought interoperability.
All FFF events are primarily focused on presentations of needs of armed and security forces, state-of-the-art technologies, R&D programmes, and business opportunities, with interactions between all participants due to the interconnected topics. The FFF is an excellent opportunity to communicate progress and plans in security in general with a special focus on future applications.
The FFF is the largest gathering place of defence and security experts with the regular participation of the highest NATO and EU representatives and working groups, together with representatives of national and other international organizations.
Under the auspices of the Government of the Czech Republic and in cooperation with the NATO and other institutions, there will be organized several events focused on interoperability, technologies, development, capabilities, challenges and approaches, and business opportunities. The forum is considered as great opportunity to exchange views on the identified areas of priority while providing in parallel the opportunity to discuss and present a range of important issues of mutual interest with all stakeholders and partners (users, industry, and academia) involved in ensuring defence and security on national as well as international level.

FFF Main Concept

• Focus on affordable and achievable technology for today’s operations
• Examine developments operationally and technically affecting international operations’ needs
• Look at the future concepts, projects, innovations, new materials, future operations’ needs
• Offer to each allied nation support in development of products and technologies
• Discussions of interoperability, counter terrorism, capability, development, fostering partnership, leveraging Alliance & national capabilities, force protection, network engagement (government, industry, academia – national, international), critical infrastructure protection, cyber defence, non-military crises, connected forces
