Limited functioning of the consular section, instructions for arranging a meeting and hygienic standards

Due to the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic and the current restrictive measures put in place by the Irish government, the functioning of the consular section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Dublin is limited. A personal visit is only possible in urgent cases and by scheduling an individual meeting slot by e-mail, and while complying with hygienic measures.

For urgent cases, the meeting must be arranged in advance by emailing: consulate_dublin@mzv.cz

There are two points of telephone contact; a fixed landline (+353 / 0/1 668 1135) during working hours and an emergency line for use outside of working hours (tel .: + 353 87 618 9055).

In the event that a meeting is arranged, the following measures must be observed:

- arrive at exactly the agreed hour, delays will not be accommodated;

- only one person will be admitted to the waiting room;

- a facial covering of the mouth and nose is required (eg: facial mask);

- bring your own pen for signatures;

- application forms to be pre-filled according to the instructions from prior correspondence when arranging the meeting;

- the exact amount in cash to be paid (according to the instructions from prior correspondence when arranging the meeting ) should be placed in an envelope;

- After entering the waiting room, please use the hand sanitiser available at the door.

Thank you for your understanding.
