The Czech Embassy in Damascus supervises the signing of an academic agreement between a Czech university and a Syrian university

As part of the efforts of the Czech Republic to support the Syrian people, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Damascus supervised the signing of an academic and scientific agreement and student exchange between the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague CZU and Al-Sham Private University.
The agreement included an exchange of faculty members and student visits, in addition to participation in conferences, exchange of scientific information, publications and joint scientific research.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Petr Kašička, Deputy Head of Mission and Mgr. Tomaš Chlopcik, Head of Development Cooperation and Commercial Section from the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Syria and the President of Al-Sham Private University, Prof. Dr. Sharif Al-Ashqar, and Dr. Ghaeth Fandi, representative of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague CZU.
This agreement falls within the efforts of the Czech Republic to support the Syrian people in all fields.
