Study trip for young African leaders called COOL CZECHIA

At the turn of July and August, the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the first study trip for young African leaders called „COOL CZECHIA, Young African Leaders Programme“. Four young leaders from Nigeria also participated in the trip: Ibijoke Faborode, Aliyu Sadiq, Cynthia Mbamalu and Kolapo Olapoju.
The program of the trip was very busy and all four participants returned full of unforgettable experiences. The trip was designed for twenty promising people from all over Africa with the aim of presenting to them Czech culture, history and the current situation and at the same time motivating and inspiring them to think about the contemporary world.
The program included, among other things, meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Parliament of the Czech Republic, journalists from Hospodářské noviny, CRo, Michael Kocáb, representatives of the NGO People in Need, a film screening and a performance of the New Circus.
It was an exciting and mutually beneficial experience. We thank all the young Nigerian leaders who are shaping the future of Africa for actively participating in the program.
The first year of Cool Czechia is just the beginning of a new era of Czech-African relations!
